Cecilia Bjursell

Cecilia Bjursell, PhD, Professor of Education, focuses on lifelong learning, and is the Director of Encell at the School of Education and Communication in Jönköping. She furthermore leads the research environment Lifelong Learning. The themes that the research group work with are a) Lifelong learning for a sustainable working life and b) Education and social sustainability. Within these themes, qualitative learning for all ages, gender equality, accessibility and non-discrimination are integrated to support the global sustainability goals. In her research, Cecilia works with concepts such as lifelong learning, older adults learning, and learning in working life.
