In 2020 Sweden and Indonesia celebrated 70 years of diplomatic relations and to mark the good relationship the Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership was established.
Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals this platform has developed to strengthen sustainability partnerships in several fields, not the least in energy cooperation.

The Swedish Energy Agency is a government agency responsible for matters of the supply and use of energy in Sweden. The Agency is in many aspects leading Sweden’s transition to a sustainable energy system.
