Professor Anders Ynnerman holds the Chair in Scientific Visualization at Linköping University. He is the director of the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), which is the largest research program in Sweden. It has the ambition to graduate 600 PhDs by 2031 and recruit a large number of international top researchers. Anders is also the director of the Norrköping Visualization Center C which is one of the world leading sites for visual computing. He is also a member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In 2007 Anders was awarded the Akzo Nobel Science award and in 2010 he received the Swedish Knowledge Award for dissemination of scientific knowledge to the public. In 2017, he was honoured with the King’s medal for his contributions to science and in 2018 he received the IEEE VGTC technical achievement award.
