Andreas Carlson has served as Minister of Infrastructure and Housing since October 2022. He is leading the government´s work in transport, infrastructure, community planning and housing. He has served as a member of Parliament between 2010-2022, where he was group leader for the Christian Democrats 2015-2022 and Deputy Chair on the Committee of Justice 2018-2022. He started his public service in Mullsjö Municipality in 2006, where he represented the party on the Municipal Council and the Municipal Executive Board.
Prior to being elected to Parliament, Andreas worked as press secretary in the European Parliament and as a journalist. He has an educational background in law and communications from Lund University and Jönköping University.
