Josefine van der Meer

Josefin van der Meer has more than 10 years of experience from working in research intensive businesses. With an academic background in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering she has worked with deep tech related topics both in Sweden and the US. Her previous position was at a deep tech-startup within the energy sector where she was part of the management team. Today she works with deep tech related topics at Vinnova, both with EU’s flagship programme – European Innovation Council (EIC), as well as with national initiatives to strengthen the conditions for research intensive startups in Sweden. She is also Vinnovas Project Manager for the Presidency Conference on Deep Tech Entrepreneurship that will take place in Stockholm, 1-2 June 2023.
